Unfortunately it failed with another "Unexpected Error". The AirPort Utility located the Airport Express, and after a few "Unexpected Error - Try Again" messages it allowed me to start the process to configure the Airport Express to extend the range. I reset the Airport Express to the factory settings using the reset button. I purchased an Airport Express gen 2 (Model: A1392) on eBay to attempt to extend the range of my existing AirPort Extreme Base Station network. Trying to add an Airport Express to existing Airport Extreme network to extend WiFi range.
